Recently I read a post by Chuck Green on the dreaded design rejection. I’m sharing this post with you because not only do I think it is important for fellow designers to read, but it’s not a bad idea for clients to be aware of this as well. Click here to read his post.
As designers we are passionate about the things we create, so it’s easy to take criticism personally. When in reality we need to think about the many different reasons why our designs could be rejected. Most likely, it’s NOT personal.
So as difficult as it may be, I am going to pledge here and now that I will not take design rejection personally. There, you all read it. 🙂
